Join us on the 22nd of April at 12h30 for a brief presentation of our Benchmarking Website – https://dbt.uk.net/ – and its features, and discover how your team can start benchmarking their outcomes. Benchmarking intends to have enough data to help teams compare their results and compliance to publicly available standards of performance based on randomized controlled trial data.
Even though joining is free, if you are interested in joining our demo followed by Q&A we appreciate it if you can please register on the following link: https://forms.gle/tg3jhN181oN9phESA
In this demo you and your team can learn more about the benchmarking process, and its main goals, namely, to collect enough data to help teams compare their results and compliance to publicly available standards of performance based on randomized controlled trial data.
British Isles DBT Training are glad to make the benchmarking website available for DBT teams, a platform that provides a practical and straightforward resource for collecting outcome data and mapping DBT programmes across the UK and Ireland – https://dbt.uk.net/.
The website enables DBT Teams to set up a free account where they can benchmark their clients’ progress and monitor changes in staff WTE commitment on their programme to assess the efficiency of their programme. Client outcomes are recorded at crucial time points during the treatment programme (referral, admission, discharge) as a basis for evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
Programme evaluation is an integral part of providing DBT, and using this tool will help you gain the necessary support from management in your organisation by presenting statistical evidence. We also have in-house analysts on hand to help you with preparing and presenting the data.
The project is supported by Health Education England as part of their investment in enhancing the quality of evidence-based psychological therapies offered to clients in services.
Benchmarking intends to have enough data to help teams compare their results and compliance to publicly available standards of performance based on randomized controlled trial data. The only information collected is the clients’ self-report measures scores (at referral, prior to the start of the programme, and after the programme of intervention). No sensitive or personally identifiable information is collected (i.e. age, location, schooling). All the clients added to the website will have a pseudonym automatically generated by the website, thus guaranteeing total confidentiality of the data. Only the DBT team entering the data will know whom the data belongs to; the website itself will not have any access to patient identifiable information. We are also happy to discuss any concerns with your Information Governance department directly if need be.
If your team wants to join this project, you must register your interest and team name, and you will be attributed a login (single login per team) so can start introducing your team’s and client data on the website.
